Epiphany Gallery - Exhibitor Disclaimer

The South Park Epiphany Gallery was opened in 2000 and provides opportunity to display art work for the enjoyment of others.  The Gallery is open to local and regional artists, as well as schools, to display their work at no cost.  The public is invited to Epiphany Gallery and there is no admission to view the displays.  The Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Sunday as part of the South Park worship experience.  Artists display their work one month at a time and complete an Exhibitors Information Form as well as an Exhibitors Disclaimer Form.   

The Epiphany Gallery displays art representative of cultures and in the past has hosted the work of Afro-American, Native American, Muslim and Jewish artists.  Other exhibitors have included Otterbein College, Smith School in Oakwood, Stivers High School in Dayton, Fairmont High School in Kettering, We Care Arts in Kettering and many local artists.  Art mediums include quilts, sculpture, wood carvings, water color, charcoal, finger paint, oils and photography.  During Advent the Gallery displays historic settings of the Nativity and during Lent additional historic renditions of the Passion of Christ.

George Liston is the founding curator of Epiphany Gallery.  As founding curator of the Gallery, he enlisted the support of the United Methodist Men’s Fellowship Group to make the Gallery a reality.  George is a retired Art Educator with a Bachelor Degree from Otterbein College and a Master Degree from Miami University with additional education from the Columbus College of Art and Design.
