Blood Pressure Clinic
A blood pressure clinic is offered each first Sunday of the month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Stonemill Road entrance. The clinic is supervised and conducted by Registered Nurses who area members of the congregation.
Fellowship Ministry Events
Fellowship Ministry Events
During the months of the year several fellowship events take place. Membersof the congregation and the community share these times together.
Coffee Fellowships on one Sunday of the month following worship.
A Mardi Gras Event on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday to celebrate the close of the Epiphany Season and to prepare for the Lenten season.
A Church Picnic is scheduled each July on the church grounds.
A Silent Auction is provided each autumn with proceeds extended into the Outreach Ministries of the church.
Game Nights are a fun time for social interaction and fun.
Caring Ministries
Hospital and post-hospital visitations are made to members of the congregation who are experiencing medical needs and/or recuperating at home or in care centers.
Visitations to our members who are residents of care centers, confined to their homes, or on limited activity as a way of extending compassion and relationship with the church. In addition, the sacrament of holy communion is shared with persons physically unable to attend worship on Sunday when the sacrament is celebrated.
Discretionary funds are given as available to persons who qualify for assistance. Persons come for assistance from Community Centers where their needs are assessed and the church is invited to assist as able.
The Good Samaritan Ministry is organized to assist members of the congregation with their short term needs including financial assistance, travel to and from appointments, assistance with household needs including lawn care and general encouragement through their need.
